What to Expect

Medication-Assisted Treatment for opioid recovery helps reduce addictive cravings and allows patients to remain more functional and involved in their families, jobs and communities throughout recovery.

The medications prescribed may offer one or more of the following:

  • Lower risk of abuse and dependence
  • Fewer side effects
  • Long duration of action
  • Infrequent dosing, usually once-a-day
  • "Ceiling effect" blocking the ability to get high

The specialized, FDA-approved prescriptions we use in our treatments are carefully administered according to a standardized curriculum of evidence-based treatments that have been shown to give patients the best chance at success.

Where privacy is part of recovery.

We understand that the feeling of utmost privacy is an essential benefit during a delicate time like recovery. So we've designed our Medication-Assisted Treatment programs to maximize privacy. This includes:

  • Filling medications at a pharmacy
  • No need to visit a clinic
  • Small psychosocial therapy groups
  • Separately housed programs to ensure privacy and discretion
  • Accommodating schedules for working professionals
