Windham public safety officer Chris Alexander went the extra mile this weekend to help a baby deer found sheltering beneath a visitor’s parked car.

After contacting the state Department of Energy & Environmental Protection for guidance, Alexander carefully and safely reunited the deer with its mother in the nearby woods.
