Saturday, March 1, 8:00AM - 4:30PM Location: MidState Medical Center - Horwitz Conference Center
An abridged version of the four-week in depth classes. This one day, eight hour class is for those who cannot attend the 4 week series. During this class you will learn about pregnancy discomforts, labor, medications, recovery, postpartum and newborn care. At the end of the class you will practice breathing/relaxation techniques used in labor. Remember to bring a couple of pillows and a mat. A tour of our facility will be included at the end of the class.

Online registration survey questions are mandatory and must be completed in order to secure your registration. This one-day Saturday program provides you with the essential information you need for labor and birth of your baby. Topics include: stages of labor, relaxation, breathing techniques, pain management options and other coping skills. Parents will come away with an understanding of how to be an active participant in the birth of their baby. Please bring a pillow with you to class. PLEASE ENROLL MOTHER-TO-BE-ONLY. ONE SUPPORT PERSON MAY ATTEND BUT IS ASKED NOT TO REGISTER.

This workshop is for women who have been abused by domestic violence, sexual assault, sexual harassment, stalking, emotional abuse or verbal or physical assault, and have left those abusive environments and desire to grow and change.
