Online registration survey questions are mandatory and must be completed in order to secure your registration. This one-day Saturday program provides you with the essential information you need for labor and birth of your baby. Topics include: stages of labor, relaxation, breathing techniques, pain management options and other coping skills. Parents will come away with an understanding of how to be an active participant in the birth of their baby. Please bring a pillow with you to class. PLEASE ENROLL MOTHER-TO-BE-ONLY. ONE SUPPORT PERSON MAY ATTEND BUT IS ASKED NOT TO REGISTER.

This one-hour class helps big brothers and sisters, age 3-6 years old prepare for the new addition. Session includes a tour of the Birthing Center and practice caring for a new baby, so bring a favorite doll or stuffed animal.

Dr. J. Antonelle de Marcaida from the Hartford HealthCare Movement Disorder Center will provide an update on "Focused Ultrasound Thalamotomy for the treatment of Essential Tremor. In summer 2016, the FDA approved focused ultrasound to treat essential tremor in patients who haven't responded to medication.
