Updates in Urology for the PCP

Hartford Hospital & Tallwood Urology & Kidney Cancer Institute will be providing a series of three educational seminars for the Primary Care Providers. Each session is independent and will provide 2 CMEs and dinner. Session 1: Prostate Health: This session will focus on criteria for PSA testing, manging BPH and new developments in Active Surveillance for patients diagnosed with prostate cancer. Presenters: Stuart Kesler, MD, Arthur Tarantino, MD & Joseph Wagner, MD Session 2 Kidney Stone Disease: This session will focus on the identification and management of stone disease as well as the role of the PCP, Urologists & Nephrologists in caring for patients with kidney stones. Presenters: Jeffrey Morgenstern, MD & Jarrod Post, MD Session 3 Pelvic Health: This session will focus on the role of the Primary Care Provider indentifying and managing Overactive Bladder, Urinary Tract Infection and Hematuria. A physical therapist will also provide an overview of the role of physcial therapy in patients with pelvic health dysfunction.
