Understanding Treatment Options for Prostate Cancer

Conflicting information about prostate cancer can be difficult to navigate. The Hartford HealthCare Tallwood Urology and Kidney Institute and Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute presents a free community education event to learn more about: Radiation, surgery and active surveillance as treatment options, factors impacting treatment decisions, and potential side effects of treatment. To mark Prostate Cancer Awareness Month free prostate cancer screenings will be held from 5:30-6:30pm (prior to the educational program). Facilitated peer-to-peer discussion will follow presentation.
